Refund Policy

This policy applies to instructor-led learning sessions booked with Smart FieldBase. It does not apply to free website content or third-party services.

Refund eligibility

Session fees may be refunded or credited according to the timeframes below. Deposits and full payments follow the same rules based on when you cancel relative to the scheduled session start time (Korea Standard Time).

Timeframes

• 7 or more days before the session: Full refund of any amount paid, including deposit
• 3–6 days before: 50% refund; remaining 50% available as credit toward a future session within 6 months
• Fewer than 3 days before: No refund unless we cancel or reschedule (see below)

Cancellation by Smart FieldBase

If we cancel a session due to instructor illness, venue issue, or insufficient enrollment, you receive a full refund or free rescheduling — your choice. We notify you as early as possible by email or phone.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without fee if requested at least 7 days before the session. Rescheduling within 3–6 days may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee per seat. Rescheduling fewer than 3 days before is treated as a cancellation (no refund).

Deposits

A 30% deposit confirms your booking. The balance is due 5 days before the session. If you cancel with full refund eligibility, the deposit is returned. If you cancel in the 50% refund window, half the deposit is refunded.

No-shows

Failure to attend without prior notice is non-refundable. Remote participants who miss a session without 24-hour notice forfeit the seat fee. Contact us before the start time if technical issues prevent joining — we will attempt to accommodate on a case-by-case basis.

Work already started

For custom workshops requiring preparatory analysis of your transaction examples, cancellation after we begin preparation (marked by email confirmation of prep start) is eligible for refund of only the unused portion, minus a ₩80,000 preparation fee.

Non-refundable items

• Printed materials already shipped to your address
• On-site travel fees if our instructor has already departed for your location
• Recording access after the 14-day viewing period has begun and you have downloaded materials

Partial attendance

Sessions are sold as complete experiences. Leaving early does not entitle partial refund. If we end a session early due to our error, we offer proportional refund or complimentary rebooking.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@smart-fieldbase.click with your booking reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers within South Korea typically settle within 3 additional business days.

Exceptions

We may waive standard rules in documented emergencies (natural disaster, hospitalization) at our discretion. Documentation may be requested.
